Our Story

Mr.7 Noodle Bar (柒爷炸酱面) brings authentic Old Beijing zhajiangmian to San Gabriel. Our chef trained for years under Master Qi (Qi Ye) of Lao Fan Gu (老饭骨), and our signature noodles follow that tradition: fresh, springy noodles topped with rich, slow-simmered black bean sauce, served with the classic caima toppings — shredded cucumber, pink radish, bean sprouts, and edamame.

Choose the signature Old Beijing Zhajiangmian made with SRF black pork belly, or the premium Angus beef rib version. Dine-in guests enjoy free noodle and sauce refills. Beyond zhajiangmian, the kitchen serves the noodles Beijing families grew up with — eggplant noodles, tomato & egg noodles — plus master-stock meatballs, braised hairtail, and pick-your-own cold dishes.

A Taste of Old Beijing

The flavors come straight from the old capital — its temple fairs, drum towers, and hutong alleyways.
